Rising sea levels combined with hurricanes is my concern. There are so many low-lying areas today. Sea level rise, plus a high tide, plus a storm surge is a maximum problem. You can batten down a home against the wind, but rising water is going to come in. Homes arent build to withstand a flood of a certain depth. Vents under homes would have them inundated quickly. Lets move to higher ground, like Asheville, NC.
